Dr. Joelle Kobliska is a psychological assistant, specializing in working with teens and has over 7 years of direct psychotherapy experience. After earning a B.S degree in Social Work from California State University, Sacramento, and a M.A. in Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University, she went on to obtain a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University. She has been an active clinician in professional organizations around the Northern CA area.
Dr. Kobliska's experience includes treating individuals with mental health disorders as well as individuals looking to better their relationships. She is skilled in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy practice and techniques. In addition to counseling, she currently teaches graduate level students preparing to become mental health practitioners. She also has experience conducting a variety of psychological assessments. Dr. Kobliska previously worked with Roseville Police Department providing counseling services and taught adolescents healthy coping skills, conducted parent coaching, and advocated for at-risk youth throughout the community. She was a foster care social worker and conducting home visits, wrote assessments and reports for foster children, supervised visits with biological families, advocated for foster children and resource connection, and worked with other county employees to decide what was in the best interest of the child.
Dr. Kobliska's therapeutic approach is to provide a safe and nurturing space for patients to express their thoughts and feelings, validate experiences, as she helps them to learn new skills and strategies for emotional wellness.
Dr. Kobliska is a passionate practitioner in the field of clinical psychology. She delivers dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatments to adolescents and families to help improve relationships. Her goal is to help clients to manage difficult feelings without acting impulsively and skillfully manage emotions.
She is eager to apply her experience and compassion with clients as they begin to address issues that will help them improve their quality of life and attain a sense of fulfillment.
In her personal life, Dr. Kobliska enjoys attending her three children's extracurricular activities alongside her husband. They have two cats, a puppy, and a rabbit. Together as a family, they enjoy hiking, the mountains, the coast, traveling, and boating.

She under exam and awaiting EPPP which has been delayed by Covid 19 closures. She is currently employed by Blue Sky Counseling and supervised by Dr. Elijah Meeker, Psy.D
